About the job
As the leader of a 5-member team responsible for promoting Pandit Deendayal Energy University's (PDEU) annual TEDx event, I navigated the unique challenges posed by the post-pandemic environment. This marked the first TEDx event after the wave of the pandemic, prompting a strategic focus on virtual communication and marketing initiatives.

To maximize our outreach, I spearheaded a comprehensive survey to analyze the primary marketing channels frequented by our student audience. The survey results guided our team to strategically leverage platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and key college areas. These channels became instrumental in disseminating event announcements, facilitating registrations, and providing timely updates. Concurrently, our team brainstormed and developed captivating media creatives, including event trailers, to encourage sign-ups from both existing and new users.
In my capacity, I assumed primary responsibility for overseeing the entire coverage and content creation process throughout the TEDx event lifecycle. This encompassed effective leadership and alignment of the team with a shared vision, ensuring seamless pre-production marketing efforts, and coordinating the post-production compilation of event artifacts. The successful management of a 5-member team, coupled with strategic oversight of both pre and post-event phases, contributed to the overall success of PDEU's TEDx event in the challenging virtual landscape.
